This Indenture made this 13 day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Thirty between Joseph Lame, Sr. of the first part, & Ruel Custer, Thomas Jameson, Caleb Lame, James Wildman, Sr., & Jacob Bryan Trustees of the burying ground & school house of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said Joseph Lame for an in consideration of one dollar lawful money of the United States to him in hand well and truely paid by the said Trustees the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged... all the following described piece or parcel of land (towit) being a part of the NW qr. of sec. No. 36 in town 5. North of range 10 E Beginning at a stone one rod [16.5'] from the NW corner of sd qr. sec. thence with the line of sd section East 30 poles [495'] to a stone Thence North 8 poles [132'] to the Beginning containing one and a half acres more or less in Jefferson County Indiana...
