This Bible was almost certainly transcribed by Mary Hill, who researched the Tait and McKay families. When transcribed, it is listed as “Now in the possession of James W. Mitchell.” The parents are not spelled out, but they were John Tait and wife Jean (Jane) McKay, whose death dates are the first given. All other entries involve their children.
